I'm in need of a good singer with a nice voice to write and perform the chorus to a song I'm working on. My style is alternative rap, but i would like an R&B, Alternative, or Rock singer to collab with.

We are a small contemporary church located at the edge of Memphis close to Bartlett. We currently have a full compliment of instrumentalists and a couple of vocalists but we are in need of a stong female vocalist who can not only sing lead but alos provide harmony. We rehearse on Thursday nights at 7:00pm and again on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and the service is from 10:30 to 11:30.

We do a lot of great tunes but we really need to expand as much as possible. Membership with our church is not required but this gig is of course a labor of love. If interested or if you know of anyone who would be interested please have them contact me ASAP at 289-1497.

Hello Fellow Vocalists,

Blues Evolution is recording a second CD, and one of the tunes is a secular but gospel sounding song that is begging for the sound of a large choir. Well, we can’t pull that off, but we can try to simulate a choir by overdubbing a variety of voices singing each part. We would love your involvement.

Our most immediate need is for HIGH SOPRANO. THE HIGHEST NOTE IS HIGH G (an octave plus a 5th above middle C that sits on the space on Top of the treble clef. It is the last note possible that is still connected to the staff before you need ledger lines.) We need someone who can hit most of the notes clustered around High E with confidence, tone and of course accuracy. Finally we want it to have some soul and sound like church.

Although we have lately been focusing on locating a soprano voice, we really need voices in all ranges and with various styles. However, YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO a PROTOOLS compatible computerized home recording software system to participate on this recording.

So, as the post says I'm new in town. I'm moving to Memphis in mid-September because I love the city and hope there's more of a scene there than there is where I'm from.

I'm an experienced vocalist. I have a three octave range with pipes that have been compared to Janis Joplin, Ann Wilson, Aretha Franklin, and many other female icons I'm sure you've all heard of. My influences are mainly men; Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Steve Perry of Journey, Martin Sexton, Axl Rose of Guns 'N Roses, etc. I like all styles of music, but am a rocker at heart. I write my own songs, and I play piano and guitar. I have a degree in music, so I know what I'm talking about and not just BSing around. I currently have a cd out, and am looking to further that as well as put out my second album.

I want people that are serious about wanting to play for a living. Realisticly, I don't ever expect to be the next superstar, but I want to be able to tour the country and not just sit at home hoping for the rest of my life. I need players with chops, and experience preferably between the ages of 18-30. I ask that you please not have a substance abuse habit. I know we're all human, but I keep myself in check so so can you. I'm not cocky, but I am extremely confident in my abilities and I want players that are on my level.

I am 19 years old and have been privately trained for 12 years.I have also modeled for 5 years, and have received a scholarship to the University of Dayton for vocal performance. I have studied genres from Musical Theater to Jazz to Opera, though my passions lie in country music. I am looking for a band (or atleast an acoustic guitarist) to collaborate with me in writing music. I write lyrics which may be a help but I do need someone to help with the instrumental aspect. I aspire to achieve a record deal within the next year or two so I am looking for someone who is very serious about entering the music industry.
