(Memphis, TN) – North Memphis Community Development Corporation (NMCDC) in partnership with Moolah Court #22 Daughters of Isis is pleased to announce their annual Community Health and Information Fair April 14th at the Bickford Community Center at 233 Henry Ave. The fair is open to the entire Memphis community and is sure to be both fun and educational for every member of the family.

A multitude of organizations will be present such as A Step Ahead Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and JobLINK of the Memphis Public Library will each have their own booths. Representatives will be available to answer health questions. Some of the various services offered include free diabetes testing, high blood pressure screening, dental screenings as well as HIV testing and free birth control information.

“Our goal is to inform and promote health and well being in a fun and accessible environment. We also hope to connect participants with local health clinics such as Christ Community Health Centers to follow-up regular health practices” says program manager, Andrea Curry.

Upon entrance, participants will receive a ticket and have the opportunity to win various door prizes. There will be activities for the kids and food will be provided attendees.
