John Lockley is a senior Xhosa Sangoma from the same tribe as Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. John studied for over 10 years to become a senior Xhosa Sangoma/ traditional African Shaman. He is entrusted to bring this knowledge and sacred reconnection to all who wishes it.

John also has a background in Zen Buddhism, and was a zen student in South Korea under well known Zen masters, Seung Sahn and Su Bong.

John has an Honors degree in Clinical Psychology, from Rhodes University in South Africa and has been working as a Psychotherapist since 20

- Introduction to Traditional Xhosa Medicine

Weekend intensive/Ancestral Blessing Ceremony - Saturday November 3rd 9:30 AM- 5PM, & Sunday November 4th 9:30AM-1PM Learn about the traditional Xhosa ways to help deepen connection and honor your ancestors/spirit guides.

Private Sessions - offered November 1st, 2nd, 5th & 6th. This involves a traditional Sangoma divination which incorporates throwing the bones and looking into the ‘soul’ of the person. The bones show the spiritual constellation of the person’s life. There is a gathering of information from the ancestral/spirit world to assist people in reconnecting to spirit, to uncover your path and reaching your full potential.
