I have a 3-4 month old German Shepherd (mix) puppy that I found at Shelby Farms. He is in need of a good home, possibly with a big backyard for romping. He is sweet and playful, loves to play with both my 2 year old pit and my 9 year old cat!! He LOVES to play! He's crate trained and almost completely house trained. He would do great in a home with other dogs or someone who has the time to give him all the love and attention he needs.

This will allow us to have an all day affair for the entire family and then we will be able to party on into the night once we get the kids home. I would like to mention a huge thanks to Mike and Lance for pulling the room together. I thought we may make this one an early outdoor gathering with family and friends, send the kids home early and continue with a great cocktail party into the late hours. I will need $10 from everyone that attends (not the kids). We will give you a Ticket and a name tag (one for classmates and another for spouses) once you give us the $10. This will cover you for the day and night. I encourage everyone to attend both. We will have music and entertainment day and night. We will be cooking out during the day so pay close attention to what you need to bring. ( keep Sam's club or Costco in mind)

If some of you want to decorate the room that will be great but it is not nessesary. It is a very nice size room. Remeber our colors?

Are the answers to missing person and murder cases in the cards?

A “cold case” playing card program that is in county jails throughout New York State aims to bring home missing persons, solve homicides, and provide resolution for families who desperately need answers. Appealing to the consciences of inmates, the program hopes to aid in solving unresolved or ongoing investigations.
The program was initiated in NYS by Doug and Mary Lyall, whose daughter Suzanne Lyall has been missing since 1998. They founded the Center for HOPE to provide a resource for the cause of missing and unidentified persons. As a not for profit 501 c (3) organization the Center for HOPE relies on assistance from many sources and individuals including Michael Salem, who serves as an advisor and is a member of Parents of Murdered Children.

The cards feature cold cases of endangered missing persons, unidentified deceased, and homicide victims. The hope is the card program may be the trigger for prisoners - who either have carried out the crime or have information about it - to reveal what they know. These inmates hear things. They know things. It is like interviewing the prison inmates about 52 different cold cases all at the same time! People may have been sleeping the information for 20 to 30 years.

Inmates are able to anonymously call a tipline if they have information on any of the featured individuals, and if any viable leads result in arrests, identified inmates may receive rewards.

The deck is a standard 52 card deck with jokers that include information about the program. Ideally, each unique card displays a color photo of the individual along with basic identifying information, the circumstances of the disappearance/homicide, reward information, and a tip line phone number.

With a government grant, 7200 decks of cards have been distributed to inmates throughout the 57 county jails in New York State. The reception has been outstanding and tips have increased dramatically.
The cards are being distributed to the non prison population, including: high crime urban areas, probation offices, homeless shelters and truck stops.

The Center for HOPE is actively exploring funding opportunities that would allow the program
to expand to a second deck of cards featuring additional cases.
