Seeking Psychologist to provide clinical care and patient management. Individual should have an in-depth knowledge of federal regulations and company guidelines for the enrollment and maintenance of subjects in clinical trials, and by collecting, recording and maintaining source and sponsor documentation.


Manage Patients in Studies

Physician Relations

Specific Duties:

Conduct psychiatric and/or medical assessments on all patients entering studies, and enrolled in our studies
Ongoing communication with Administrator and Principal Investigators to maintain a professional, productive and fun team-oriented culture
Interface with sponsors as appropriate for the successful management of all studies
Along with other Investigators, training and development of staff emphasizing both diagnostic and trial conduct acumen including quality, efficiency, and sponsor relations
Ongoing problem solving with the Administrator, of all clinic functions including patient scheduling, patient management, laboratory services, etc.
Assist Principal Investigators with identifying trends for patient screen fails, drops, retention, placebo response, etc and work on improving deficiencies with clinical team
Assist with new study feasibility
Thorough adaptation to any assigned studies through reading protocols, attending investigator meetings and start-up meetings, and orienting with Principal Investigator.
Perform clinical tasks, as required, including psychometric and non-psychometric testing, vital signs, height and weight, ECG, phlebotomy, specimen packaging, etc.
Dispense and maintain, as required, accurate records of study medication.
Operate as a Sub-Investigator on all protocols in conducting initial evaluations, ratings and assessment of patients.

Job Requirements
Doctorate (PhD, DNP, etc.) in Nursing
5+ years of experience in Nursing
2+ years of experience as an NP
Credentialed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Specialist)
Licensed (or able to become licensed) to practice in the State of Tennessee
Research experience preferred but not required
Proficiency in utilizing various psychiatric diagnostic and rating scales
Able to assist in patient care which may include lifting items of up to 50 lbs in weight
