The Systems Specialist is responsible for analyzing and tracking system data for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcares entities. Provide reports for functions and analyzes data while maintaining all HIPPA and MLH patient data integrity and security. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
Education/Experience/Licensure 13;

Education/Formal Training
Work Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Must have one (1) year of experience in accounting or information systems function, using MS Office applications, Access and Crystal.

CognosReport Writer

Five (5) years of experience in accounting or information systems in lieu of education.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 13;
:Working knowledge and experience in client server language and third party tools such as SQL, Server, JavaScript, Access, and Web development tools such as Front Page.
:Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and applicable state and federal laws.
:Working knowledge of business unit systems and processes.
:General network application knowledge of backup techniques, process, database management and network protocols.
:Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with others and maintain working relationships with Associates and other departments or areas.
:Ability to read comprehends complex written material, such as computer system manuals.
:Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
:Ability to set priorities, organize and coordinate multiple tasks and maintain control of workflow. 13;

:Ability to analyze moderately complex receivable issues.
:Ability to produce reports and analyze data.
:Conduct monthly audits, tracks daily statistics and performs letter maintenance.
:Coordinates and supports the information technology needs of the department.
:Analyzes and resolves issues and/or reports them to Information Systems, Vendors, System Analysts, and administrative team.
:Designs, codes text and debugs documentation that are moderate in complexity, and maintains programs.
:Creates, monitors, and supports analytical evaluations of formats for clients and new business.
:Uses dialer system specific analysis techniques to determine dialer work strategies including pool work schedule and configure the dialer to build pools.
:Operates and monitors the dialing pools using established procedures to ensure operation and effectiveness.
:Provide network administrative support and troubleshoots problems with personal computers and systems.
:Ability to adhere to time sensitive and financially critical timeline.
:Ability to adhere to all HIPPA guidelines and ensure patient privacy and data security.
:Ability to work on multiple projects as assigned. 13;

:The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
:Must have good balance and coordination.
:The physical requirements of this position are: light work : exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
