Job Description Job Summary: The Director of Corporate Reporting is responsible for managing the process/infrastructure for accurate summarization & consolidation of financial results for all domestic operations and foreign subsidiaries to be reported. Ensures accurate and timely consolidation of financial results in accordance with GAAP. Primary Responsibilities Establishes and maintains the process and infrastructure necessary to ensure accurate and timely summarization & consolidation of financial results of all subsidiaries. Implements process improvement and automation to improve work efficiency and workflow. Assists in the establishment/maintenance of accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency in communication and reporting of information throughout the company. Protects assets by establishing and monitoring the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures. Coordinates with multiple foreign subsidiaries to maintain and control uniform chart of accounts and account mapping. Maintains and controls financial statement formatting and reporting. Monitors adherence to departmental budgets, analyzes variances and recommends/implements corrective action. Performs on-site internal audits of all subsidiaries on an annual or as needed basis. Assists and coordinates with external auditors to ensure audits are executed in a timely and cost effective manner. Supports business initiatives and provides guidance on accounting impacts. Also provides guidance to the global management team supporting strategic decisions, capital requests, standard costs, variance analysis, physical inventories, ERP systems, reserve requirements, and other management objectives. Actively participates in initiatives and special projects as required by senior management, divisional leadership, and corporate. Participate in due diligence efforts for potential investments or acquisitions. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Working knowledge of GAAP along with strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel preferred Demonstrated ability to facilitate change Strong communication skills Experience Requirements A minimum of 6-7 years increasing responsible accounting & management experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA preferred. International accounting and international consolidation experience is required. Experience with accounting consolidation systems are required, preferably with SAP. CPA or CMA preferred. Previous experience in Public Accounting a plus Previous experiences with Mergers & Acquisitions a plus Background in multi-currency and multi-entity preferred Working Conditions: Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries- approximately 25%. Travel will also be required for potential acquires to conduct due diligence.
