Provides quality customer service to the client by collecting delinquent accounts in adherence to FDCPA regulations to ensure maximum return. Effectively negotiates with debtors to find ways that payment can be secured. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience collecting receivables or customer service experience
:Basic reading, writing and math skills.
:Good verbal communications skills a must.
:Ability to influence and interact with others.
:Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 13;

:Telephones/locates debtors using the predictive dialer and manual telephone operations to persuade the debtor to pay amounts due or make arrangements for payment.
:Follow:ups on accounts to ensure collection.
:Documents account contacts on the computer screen to record work.
:Takes direct payments on accounts by credit card or direct check. 13;

:The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
:Must have good balance and coordination.
:The physical requirements of this position are: light work : exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
